Infinix NOTE 60 Pro Review: Price, Specs, Features and Camera

The Infinix NOTE 60 Pro 5G is one of Infinix's most ambitious NOTE smartphones yet. Rather than competing only on price, Infinix has equipped it with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, large 6500mAh battery, 90W fast charging, wireless charging and a distinctive rear Active Matrix Display.

Infinix is particularly emphasizing performance. The company claims the new platform delivers substantially faster CPU and GPU performance than the previous NOTE generation, while the phone can support gaming at up to 120fps in compatible titles. But with Nigerian retail prices approaching ₦600,000 and going considerably higher depending on the seller, is the NOTE 60 Pro still good value?

6.78-Inch 144Hz AMOLED Display

The screen is easily one of the NOTE 60 Pro's biggest attractions. Infinix uses a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display running at up to 144Hz. That higher resolution gives you a sharper image than a conventional FHD+ budget-phone display, while 144Hz makes scrolling, animations and supported games exceptionally smooth.

For someone who watches a lot of YouTube, Netflix or short-form video, the combination of AMOLED contrast and high resolution should make the NOTE 60 Pro an excellent media device. The high refresh rate also complements the phone's gaming ambitions.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Performance

Inside is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a 4nm 5G chipset. This is important because the NOTE 60 Pro is targeting users who want more than basic social media and messaging performance. Infinix claims up to 78% faster overall performance compared with the NOTE 50 Pro, including a 75% CPU improvement and substantially faster GPU performance under its own testing. Those manufacturer comparisons should naturally be treated as controlled-test figures rather than guaranteed real-world gains, but the hardware should comfortably handle everyday multitasking, photography and gaming.

Infinix has also incorporated a 3D vapour-chamber cooling system to help manage heat during demanding workloads. A current Konga specification sheet confirms the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and vapour-chamber cooling configuration.

A Rear Active Matrix Display

One of the NOTE 60 Pro's most unusual features is its Active Matrix Display on the back. Rather than simply adding decorative LEDs, Infinix uses the rear display as a small visual interface for notifications and other information.

Infinix describes it as being able to visualize notifications and moods while effectively disappearing into the design when it isn't needed. It isn't a replacement for the main screen, but it gives the NOTE 60 Pro a visual identity that separates it from the endless collection of similar-looking rectangular smartphones.

There is also a customizable One-Tap Button that can provide quick access to functions such as the flashlight, silent mode and Infinix AI.

50MP Night Master Camera

Photography is built around Infinix's 50MP Night Master Camera system. Infinix is positioning the camera around photography in both bright and low-light environments. Optical image stabilization is particularly useful because it can reduce camera shake when taking photos in low light and improve stability when recording video. This isn't necessarily the phone to buy if your priority is having several dedicated zoom lenses like a premium Ultra flagship. Instead, the NOTE 60 Pro concentrates on producing a capable primary-camera experience.

For social media, portraits, everyday photography and casual video, that should cover what most buyers actually need.

6500mAh Battery and 90W Fast Charging

Battery technology is another major selling point. The NOTE 60 Pro is offered with a battery of up to 6500mAh, paired with 90W wired fast charging. That is substantially larger than the 5000mAh batteries still common in many Android phones. Infinix also promotes Battery Self-Healing Technology, designed to improve battery longevity over repeated charge cycles.

The phone supports wireless charging as well, with current specifications listing 30W wireless charging, alongside reverse wired and reverse wireless charging. Reverse charging means the NOTE 60 Pro can provide power to another compatible device, such as earbuds or another smartphone. Bypass charging is another useful feature for gamers because power can be supplied while reducing unnecessary battery charging during demanding sessions.

Infinix AI and XOS 16

The NOTE 60 Pro ships with Android 16 and XOS 16, with Infinix AI integrated into the software experience. AI is increasingly becoming a major battleground between Android manufacturers, and Infinix is using it for assistance and productivity rather than treating it purely as a camera feature. The customizable One-Tap Button can also provide direct access to Infinix AI, which is convenient if you use AI features frequently.

More importantly for long-term ownership, Infinix promises three major Android version upgrades for the NOTE 60 Pro. That is an important improvement for buyers considering keeping the phone for several years.

JBL-Tuned Stereo Speakers

The phone includes dual stereo speakers tuned by JBL. That should make it better suited to watching movies, playing games and listening to music without headphones than a phone relying on a single bottom-firing speaker. Current retail specifications also list Hi-Res and Hi-Res Wireless Audio support. Combined with the 1.5K AMOLED screen, this makes the NOTE 60 Pro particularly attractive as an entertainment phone.

Advanced Health Monitoring Is an Unusual Addition

One surprising feature is built-in health monitoring. Infinix says the NOTE 60 Pro includes sensors capable of measuring heart rate, blood oxygen and heart-rate variability (HRV) through its My Health functionality. That's unusual on a smartphone, since these measurements are normally associated with smartwatches. They should be considered wellness features rather than replacements for professional medical equipment.

Infinix NOTE 60 Pro Price in Nigeria

Price varies substantially between Nigerian retailers. Konga currently has an 8GB/256GB NOTE 60 Pro for ₦592,250, discounted from ₦625,000. Another Konga seller lists the 256GB model for ₦600,000. Jumia is noticeably more expensive at the time of checking. Its NOTE 60 Pro results include prices around ₦720,000, ₦731,500 and ₦749,999 for 8GB/256GB configurations. That means comparing sellers before buying could potentially save well over ₦100,000.

Who Should Buy the Infinix NOTE 60 Pro?

The NOTE 60 Pro makes sense for gamers who want a 144Hz screen, Snapdragon performance, strong cooling and bypass charging. It's also attractive for heavy smartphone users because the large battery and 90W charging reduce battery anxiety.

For content consumption, the combination of AMOLED, 1.5K resolution and JBL stereo speakers is excellent on paper. And users who enjoy distinctive phone designs may appreciate the rear Active Matrix Display and customizable shortcut button.

Cons

  • Some specifications differ between regional variants

Final Verdict

The Infinix NOTE 60 Pro is no longer simply an affordable phone with a few impressive specifications. It pushes the NOTE series much closer to premium territory with its Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 144Hz 1.5K AMOLED display, rear Active Matrix Display, 90W charging and wireless charging.

If you can find it close to ₦600,000, the NOTE 60 Pro offers an impressive combination of display quality, battery capacity, charging technology, gaming performance and distinctive features.

For buyers prioritizing those things over having the absolute best camera system, it is one of Infinix's most interesting phones of 2026.
